Tell us about your new book?

It’s called IMAGINE A FRIEND and it’s an all ages novella about a friendship between a boy called Louie and a girl called Marchie that becomes one-sided. It’s set in a world where imaginary friends are real and, as all friends do, encounter sadness as well as love.

What aspect of the book was the most fun to write?

I think it was building a world where imaginary friends were a reality – and in doing that, pull the wool over the reader’s eyes a little concerning the big (ish) revelation in the story.

If there is one emotion or theme that you would hope that the reader connects with, what would that be?

Hope. Everyone in this story tells Louie to give up, but he never does.
